4 Hills breeding dogs are tested for Prcd/pra, Pll, DM, Baer,and Rcd4/pra. We do genetic tests for these inheritable diseases, because they are common to the breed, and they can lead to blindness. Blindness is common in the Australian Cattle Dog, but by proper breeding the diseases that cause blindness can be prevented.

All puppies produced by us are guaranteed for life against losing their vision to Prcd/ pra, Pll, or Rcd4/pra.

We always have a waiting list for upcoming litters. Names are added to the list in the order in which we receive them. Once we have puppies, we contact people in order on the waiting list. We start accepting deposits when the puppies are 2 weeks old, and we know all are strong and healthy.

Our puppies start at $1000 for Limited AKC Registration. Full AKC Registration is available to approved homes for an additional fee. All our puppies are dewormed at 2,3,4,6, and 8 weeks of age with Nemex II, and they are vaccinated at 6 and 9 weeks of age. We guarantee our puppies to be healthy and they will come with an AKC registration application and a vaccine and deworming record.

We have shipped puppies but prefer our puppies to be picked up from our farm. We believe this to be easier on them, and love to meet the families our puppies go to.
